Château Latour,
Les Forts de Latour
Les Forts is one of Bordeaux's most serious second wines, drawing on dedicated parcels as well as fruit not selected for Château Latour. Its reputation and ageing ability have given it a market position beyond a conventional second label.

SIGNATURE VINTAGES
1990 A landmark year when stricter selection elevated Les Forts and the first Pauillac de Latour was produced.
2000 Exceptional vintage conditions and powerful raw material from across the estate.
2009 Rich, concentrated and highly rated, among the strongest recent Les Forts releases.
2010 Structured and age worthy.
2016 A modern benchmark with exceptional precision and outstanding Cabernet quality.
The Investment Case
Les Forts has established itself as far more than a conventional second wine because of its dedicated vineyard sources, serious ageing ability and direct association with Latour. It has an established secondary market of its own and is included in Liv-ex's Second Wine 50. As mature vintages disappear, its combination of quality and a price below the Grand Vin can sustain demand.
