Hermitage Cuvée Cathelin

Domaine Jean-Louis Chave,

Hermitage Cuvée Cathelin

Cuvée Cathelin is an exceptionally rare selection from Chave's Hermitage Rouge, bottled only when the family believes a vintage warrants a separate release. It is one of the Rhône's clearest scarcity-driven cult wines. Its value is overwhelmingly scarcity-driven.

The Investment Case

What Drives the Price of Hermitage Cuvée Cathelin

Cathelin's value is overwhelmingly scarcity-driven. It is produced only in selected vintages and in extremely small quantities, from an estate already renowned for one of the Rhône's greatest wines. That creates a cult wine within a cult producer, giving each release significance and making mature, provenance-perfect bottles exceptionally difficult to find.
